You will get several hours performance on a 4000mh L series battery. In my experience the transmitters use the battery faster than the receivers. Tx and Rx have both HDMI and SDI connectors so you can use the pair as a cross converter also. For example if you have an SDI feed from a camera you can cross convert it using these units to put the feed into an HDMI monitor. I have multiple units.
