STEREO PREAMPLIFIER No. 26S Dual Monaural Preamplifiers used Teflon circuit boards to supposedly differentiate the No. 26 and the 26S models, produced between 1991 and 1994 by Madrigal Audio Laboratories. This unit utilizes Camac coaxial connectors (except for the XLR balanced ones), which were used in the medical industry as well, because they break hot before they break ground when unplugged. No shorting electronics means a safe preamp and safe ER patients. Excellent condition, fully overhauled by Cello Germany in February 2018 to mint state, BETTER THAN NEW: fully recapped, new power transformer, diode and resistances, new rectifier, I can send more pics on request. Rechecked and recalibrated in February 2022.Little use since then. Small blemishes (see photos) Pickup is preferred but I also like to ship the amplifier in its packaging at buyers cost. 1 pair of cables Cello String 5 feet (155 cm.) with original Fischer plug and 2 adapters (XLR / Fischer) at additional cost.
