The SR8012 was probably the world's finest AVR in 2017 and 18, and maybe even 19. How do I know this? Simple: I've been in the AV industry for 40 years. Manufacturing, Wholesale, Retail. I know this industry and its products backwards and forwards. This unit is exactly 5 years old and it sounds as great as day 1. Its SUPERB with music in 2.2 mode, and its SUPERB with TV and movies in 5.2 mode. I have the original box and all the original accessories, and I can prove that its EXACTLY 5 years old.
