Marantz Reference Model SC-7S2 Stereo Preamplifier. In excellent condition, working perfectly and includes everything. This was part of a Marantz second generation Reference System with an original retail price of $8000.00 in 2010. Cost was no object for this Flagship preamp developed with their best engineering expertise - meticulously hand-built in Japan. It is stunningly beautiful and pictures don't do it justice! I have all the original boxes with matching serial number, original metal remote control, original owners's manual, power cord, and both original inner and outer shipping boxes and packing materials for safe travels. It’s hard to find an imperfection anywhere on this preamp. It’s pristine everywhere. If you want to nit-pick, with a magnifying glass, there’s a tiny nick on the top panel -hardly even noticeable - see 3 sets of top-plate pictures. Last top plate pic #16 has close up - good luck seeing it. That is the only mark I can find on this unit. This is one of the cleanest examples you will find. I just don’t use the system it was from much anymore so have reluctantly decided to part with it. Feel free to look up the reviews. MARANTZ SX-72 Turntable Scratch Noise Suppressor Part Working. Will be well packaged and sent via RM 24HR tracked and insured upon dispatch. THIS IS NOT AN AMPLIFIER The unit powers up and tested through output 2 through the tape section on an integrated amp can be connected to a phono amp and has a digital output not tested. Output 1 is not working. I tested with a couple one in good condition and with the adjustment you increase the amount of suppression until the lens go green it certainly cleaned up some of the odd snap and crackle I tried a more heavily scratched lp and it did help to a degree. Its not a miracle worker. This a Spares Repairs item so will need attention to output one and testing on the digital output.
