Genießen Sie Ihre Musiksammlung mit atemberaubend klarem Klang – bei Discs genauso wie beim Streaming. Bei der Wiedergabe von SACDs, CDs und anderen Datendiscs mit Audiodateien kommt es vor allem darauf an, dass der Player die Informationen so präzise wie möglich abruft. Denn anders als beim Rippen einer Disc mit einem Computer bleibt bei der Musikwiedergabe keine Zeit für wiederholtes Scannen. Die Wiedergabe erfolgt in Echtzeit – der Transportmechanismus kann sich also keine Fehler erlauben. Die Fähigkeiten des SA-10 gehen weit über das Abspielen von Discs hinaus: Er agiert auch als vollwertiger D/A-Wandler für Musikdateien, die auf einem Computer gespeichert sind, und verfügt über konventionelle Digitaleingänge für vorhandene Quellkomponenten. Diese konventionellen (optischen und koaxialen) Eingänge sind auf Dateien mit bis zu 192 kHz/24 Bit ausgelegt. Der SA-10 geht jedoch einen Schritt weiter. Er hat nicht nur ein komplett neu entwickeltes Laufwerk an Bord, auch sein Digital-zu-Analog-Wandler wurde völlig neu gestaltet. Dabei werden auch sämtliche Vorteile der 1-Bit-Konvertierungstechnologie genutzt, die mit den letzten Flaggschiff-Playern von Marantz eingeführt wurde. Außerdem ist er mit nagelneuen Filtern sowie einer Aufwärtskonvertierungs-Funktion ausgestattet. DSD ist das digitale Kernformat des SA-10. Mithilfe des in den Player integrierten MMM-Stream-Converters von Marantz werden PCM- und DXD-Daten in DSD 11,2 MHz konvertiert. Das so erzeugte Hochfrequenzsignal wird anschließend in der einzigartigen MMM-Konvertierungsstufe, die anstelle eines herkömmlichen D/A-Wandlers verwendet wird, in ein analoges Signal konvertiert. Genau wie der Vollverstärker PM-10 ist auch der SA-10 auf höchste Ansprüche ausgelegt. Sein doppelwandiges Chassis mit Kupferbeschichtung wirkt mechanischen und elektromagnetischen Störungen entgegen. Sein Gehäuse besteht aus dicken, nichtmagnetischen Aluminiumplatten und einer fünf Millimeter dicken Abdeckplatte. Sowohl der PM-10 als auch der SA-10 sind mit vibrationshemmenden Füßen aus Aluminiumdruckguss ausgestattet, die Ihr Hörerlebnis noch angenehmer machen.
