Genuine Marantz USA Focused Field Model M2 speaker set/pair. Fully tested each speaker plays great. One previous owner from a non-smoking home. Speakers have had easy life not played at loud volume. Speakers feature a 6 1/2 mid woofer and a dome tweeter. Easy pull removable cloth speaker covers. Real dark walnut wood grain finish. Maintained and kept clean very nice cosmetically. Speakers play nicely providing a rich smooth dynamic sound quality. Woofers exhibit dry surrounds and will need attention or replaced if played at loud levels or high volumes. I see 5 cracks in the woofer surrounds. Does not affect sound quality at this time however high volume will cause the dry foam like material to disintegrate or turn to dust. Playing speakers with cracked surrounds at high volume will eventually damage the voice coil. As is play low volume without issues or remove the four screws and install new mid range woofers. Woofers are simple to replace and readily available on eBay. Speakers are 4 ohm impedance speakers. Frequency response 30Hz to 20KHz. Built in crossover frequency 2.4KHz.
