The MMM consists of MMM-Stream, which converts PCM input signals to 1-bit DSD signals (11.2 / 12.3 MHz), and MMM-Conversion, which converts DSD signals to analog. Algorithms for converting signals, filter parameter settings, and parts that greatly affect sound quality can be freely selected. Marantzs ideal sound is realized by developing not only the DAC but also everything from the mechanical engine to the output circuit in-house. A complete isolation system that eliminates high-frequency noise that adversely affects sound quality is installed between MMM-Stream and MMM-Conversion to achieve complete digital/analog separation.
