MARANTZPM4400Hifi amplifier(with REMOTE & manual) Excellent amplifier which has been tested and serviced and output bias currents set to Marantz spec. Extremely good cosmetic condition. Front panel & all controls and switches are in excellent order. Just side panels have some marks/scratches (see pics of the actual amp on sale here). The Source inputs are switched digitally using the left rotary selector switch. It has tone defeat to take the tone controls out of circuit for a FLAT direct signal route. Also has the LOUDNESS switch which compensates for the human ears low volume listening capabilities. Both speaker outputs can be switched and it has Headphone output too. It has the ability to run a second set of speakers if you wish to listen in another room or if you wish to operate a bi-wired speaker system. A very competent performer indeed following my tests in my own system. Turntable and CD inputs system tested with Mission floor standers. Other inputs also tested with CD source. Line/RCA Outputs from Tape and CDR/MD tested through another amp to verify full signal integrity. If you are a Vinyl listener or just rediscovering Vinyl, then it also has the all important Phono/Turntable inputs which is a surprisingly excellent phono circuit too. *Original Marantz user manual included in this sale. *Original Marantz REMOTE CONTROL (RC4200PM) included. This will also control a matching Marantz CD player too (tested with CD63SE machine).
