Dies ist wirklich einer der besten klassischen Marantz-Receiver von 1972-1975. Es hat eine erstaunliche Klangqualität, manche Leute vergleichen es sogar mit Marantz 2245 und 2270. Es wurde innen und außen gereinigt. Der Verstärker wurde erneuert (Kondensatoren wurden ersetzt). Alle Schalter und Potentiometer wurden gereinigt. Die Leuchten wurden durch die neuen LED-Leuchten ersetzt. Das Pergamentpapier wurde ersetzt. Die Offset-, Bias- und Stromversorgungsplatinenspannungen wurden gemäß Servicehandbuch angepasst. This is a really one of the top Classic Marantz Receivers from 1972-1975. It has an amazing sound quality, some people even compare with Marantz 2245 and 2270. It got cleaned inside and outside. The amplifier got recapped ( Capacitors got replaced). All the switches and potentiometers got cleaned. The lights got replaced with the new LED lights. The vellum paper got replaced. The offset, bias and power supply board voltages got adjusted in according to service manual. All the necessary maintenance has been performed. The amplifier works as it should be. Alle Funktionen sind in Ordnung soweit ich das testen konnte. Folgende Mngel sind mir bekannt: knacken/rauschen beim bettigen der Potis, sporadisch aussetzen eines Kanals, Power-Knopf fehlt, ein Lmpchen fr die Skalenbeleuchtung defekt (ganz links), leichte optische Mngel. Schätze der guten alten HiFi Zeit Marantz 2230 Nach langen Winterschlaf mit einem Kurztest wieder zum Leben erweckt . Der hübsche Receiver schaltet ein,; die Beleuchtung bleibt fast vollständig dunkel. Der Marantz empfängt an einer einfachen Wurfantenne Lokalsender sehr gut. Das Gerät klingt in meinen Ohren wunderschön, typischer Sound seiner Zeit. Einige Schalter sind sehr schwergängig. Keine anderen Tests, weitere Mängel sind möglich. Das Gerät hat Gebrauchsspuren seiner langen Lebenszeit. Aufgrund der langen Standzeit als Defekt, am besten vom aller schlimmsten ausgehen. Ausdrücklich als Bastlergerät. Der Marantz braucht mit Sicherheit eine professionelle Überholung und Reinigung. Meine technischen Angaben sind die eines Laien und können von einer Fachkraft und Käufer abweichen. Marantz 2238B stereo receiver. Classic silver face model with gyro-touch tuning. Used - plays but needs work. Source thru AUX plays and sounds great. Tuner section plays but has a lot of static. Also the speaker 2 switch gets stuck. Cosmetically its in pretty good shape but see pics for yourself. Balance control knob is not original and its missing one of the rear AC outlets. Sold as-is for either parts / repair or use it for streaming without the tuner.
