Der Marantz Receiver Modell 4230 ist ein hochwertiger Stereo-/Quadrophonie Verstärker aus den 1970er Jahren (Verstärker 2x30W bzw. 4x15W; FM und AM Radioempfangsteil, Phono Vorverstärker integriert, d.h. Plattenspieler kann direkt angeschlossen werden). Orignalanleitung in englischer Sprache und eine deutsche Anleitung des damaligen deutschen Vertriebs sind noch vorhanden.Das Gerät ist etwas für Kenner und Liebhaber.Der Lautstärkepotentiometer kratzt etwas beim Bedienen. Ansonsten konnten, soweit ersichtlich, außer kleinen Gebrauchsspsoweit keine Mängel festgestellt werden. Funktionsfähigkeit wurde hier aber nur mit zwei Lautsprecherboxen, einem Plattenspieler und dem eingebauten Radioempfänger geprüft. Es kann keine Gewährleistung übernommen werden.Das Gerät wurde damals von meinen Schwiegereltern erworben und nach deren Ableben längere Zeit nicht benutzt.

Dies ist wirklich einer der besten klassischen Marantz-Receiver von 1972-1975. Es hat eine erstaunliche Klangqualität, manche Leute vergleichen es sogar mit Marantz 2245 und 2270. Es wurde innen und außen gereinigt. Der Verstärker wurde erneuert (Kondensatoren wurden ersetzt). Alle Schalter und Potentiometer wurden gereinigt. Die Leuchten wurden durch die neuen LED-Leuchten ersetzt. Das Pergamentpapier wurde ersetzt. Die Offset-, Bias- und Stromversorgungsplatinenspannungen wurden gemäß Servicehandbuch angepasst. Alle notwendigen Wartungsarbeiten wurden durchgeführt. Der Verstärker funktioniert wie er sein soll. Eine weitere Beschreibung entnehmen Sie bitte den Bildern. The amplifier got recapped ( Capacitors got replaced). All the switches and potentiometers got cleaned. The lights got replaced with the new LED lights. The vellum paper got replaced. The offset, bias and power supply board voltages got adjusted in according to service manual. All the necessary maintenance has been performed. The amplifier works as it should be.
