Marantz DD-82 Digital Compact Cassette Deck, dcc functions, excellent cosmetic condition. DCC tape part functions and will play with no issues. Have recently recorded from a CD, via digital output with excellent results. Panasonic tape with test recording will be include. As not working correctly with normal tapes. Intermittently will recognising and FF/RW/PLAY BUT NO SOUND) have decided to list as Spares or Repair with any and all work required to recommission the entire responsibility of the buyer. The machine has been stored for several years and unused until recently. It has been used over the last week with no problems with the DCC. I did notice that one brand of blank media needed a small nudge to get the door mechanism to finish closing. The other brand of blank media I had on hand was fine and never needed any help so I assume it was manufacturer tolerances or variation on the tape. I have several blank media (albeit with previous recordings on them) available too. NB Remote battery contacts have suffered from battery corrosion discharge. I think they might be chance to salvage the remote if you clean up the springs / contacts. If I have time I will attempt to this. ----------
