Welcome to my listing for beautiful Marantz CD5000 CD Player. This is a rare sleeper from the venerable stable of Marantz, incorporating the very rare and highly revered Philips TDA1549T DAC. You dont have to search far to find glowing reviews of this superb unit, with many people ranking of up there with the very best of CD players! It delivers music with surprising smoothness, authority and detail. This is a very clean and detailed sounding CD player and can easily be partnered with higher end components. It really does sound excellent. The transport is the very high quality and resonance free Philips CDM12.1 unit. The headphone output is also of a very high quality, if that is important to you. As you can see from the pictures, this player is in very good condition throughout. There is a small blemish on the screen which Ive pictured and a few small marks on the top panel but overall it looks excellent. It reads and navigates discs with speed and precision and every button and function works perfectly and as it should. Unfortunately there is no remote included. Marantz CD873 CD player in good condition and perfect working order. Superb sound quality, features the legendary Phillips TDA1541 D/A converter found in many high end players plus the CDM4/11 mech. The draw mechanism works smoothly, very quick to read and play the disc. The display is nice and bright, there is a drop panel, where additional features can be accessed. Features the regular RCA outputs as well as digital coax. The laser is a swing assembly which need to be secured for transport to prevent damage while shipping; the red plastic transport screws are on the base, these are vital and will be locked. I have cleaned the laser lens and deep cleaned the exterior all ready for the new owner. Please see the images as they form part of the description.
