Unusually complete with original remote, certificate of authenticity and instruction manual, this is a truly classic bit of kit which needs no introduction. I am only letting it go due to having switched to streaming and its far too good to be sitting around doing nothing! I am aware that these often go north of £200 when the remote and certificate are present, and there are two reasons my asking price is quite a bit lower: In the time that I have had the player, there has been the odd occasion it has failed to a read a disc on the first attempt. This has always been remedied by switching it off and on again once - there is no disc Ive fed it that it has failed to read on the second attempt. I do not have the original box. I would prefer that the buyer collects as this provides the opportunity to give the player the once over (and have a listen if desired) before completing, but I can post with relevant insurance cover if necessary. This CD Player needs no introduction, the legendary Marantz CD63 MKII KI Edition Compact Disc Player in fully working and excellent condition with Serial number: MZ2029822061007. It shows the minimal amount of previous use with just the odd light scuffs and scratches as expected with any used item (see photos). Recently serviced prior to sale with the internal mechanism cleaned and re-greased, and the lens physically cleaned. An excellent sounding CD player thanks to its 1bit DAC. This is the KI (Ken Ishiwata) edition, Marantzs own in house technical guru, who made a number of upgrades over the standard MKII. The Marantz KI was the CD Player he pretty much made for himself, and everyone else loved it too... Includes a re-printed copy of the owners manual, and remote controller (not original). No other accessories are included.
