Gelegentlich kommt es vor, dass das Gerät ein Medium nicht erkennt oder den Abspielvorgang abbricht. Dies betrifft vor allem SACDs. Alles andere läuft gut. Ich hatte das Problem beim Vorgänger DV9500 auch schon einmal. Hier konnte das Ganze durch ein Justieren der Lasereinheit behoben werden. Weiterhin fehlt die originale Fernbedienung. Leider sind einmal die Batterien ausgelaufen und haben die Fernbedienung unbrauchbar gemacht. Es liegt eine neue Ersatzfernbedienung bei, die es erlaubt, alle wesentlichen Funktionen des Gerätes zu bedienen. Der Universalspieler wurde in einem tierfreien Nichtraucherhaushalt betrieben.
