Allerdings konnte ich mangels Bedienungsanleitung nicht alle Funktionen testen. Das Gerät bekam neue Füße, da die alten marode waren. Aufgrund des Alters und weil ich nicht alles testen konnte, verkaufe ich die Geräte als defekt. Die Komponenten werden für den Versand bestens verpackt, damit sie heile ankommen. Leider mchte der Marantz wieder in die Werkstatt und ich mchte nicht mehr. Alles funktioniert so wie es sein soll, nur die Klangqualitt sollte wieder instand gesetzt werden. Marantz Model 250M Amplifier Service Manual . Very Nice condition!!!

I purchased this as a store demo sometime in the 70s.......1975 or so. It worked fine until I stored it, then when I pulled it out of storage and tried to power it up it did not work.Just tested it again; seems to power up, lights illuminate on the meters, but no signal coming through either channel. The left channel meter range selector is a little loose and its operation a bit stiffer than the one for the right channel, but appears to have a set screw that may be a little loose. Hoping someone will want to restore this unit. Un-molested, never tinkered with, just quit working after long term storage. 125 watts per channel. I do realize shipping is expensive now on heavy items, so am essentially letting it go for whatever it gets on highest bid on top of shipping, starting at a $25.00 bid no reserve. (Just noticed there is a re-cap kit available on Ebay for this amp for all of you DIYers...........the kit is about $200!)

THE CASING OF THE BACK PANEL IS SLIGHTLY BOWED AS WELL THE GROUND SCREW IS MISSING DUE TO WARPED PANEL THE SCREWS THAT ARE ON THE SIDES HOLDING THE CASE ARE STRIPPED AND CANT TURN THE PHILLIPS HEADS ARE ROUNDED.THE AMP WORKS WELL AND SOUNDS AWESOME BUT THE REAR COOLING FAN HAS NOT TURNED ON EVER WHILE I HAVE USED IT. THE RECEIVER GETS VERY WARM TO ME SO I PLUGGED A SMALL ELECTRONICS COMPUTER FAN TO THE SWITCHED OUTLET SO FAN IS RUNNING WHEN PWR ON.I BOUGHT THIS FROM A SELLER WHO IMO WAS VERY DISHONEST AS I WAS TOLD EVERTHING HAD BEEN SERVICED BUT THE TECHS PH NUMBER WAS NOT VALID.
