Marantz 1150 Premain Amplifier - Professionally restored. This was a one-owner (military veteran) unit. After we garnered the entire estate (which also included handmade stereo cabinets made in the Philippines ) we had the following service rendered: 1. Tech determined the timing capacitors in the protection circuit were out of spec - replaced same; tested 4.0 (as in tested good) 2. Measured and adjusted DC offset and bias to factory specification on each channel; tested 4.0 3. Inspected and cleaned all switches and potentiometers; all tested 4.0 (no scratchiness etc etc etc). All capacitors were/are in spec as well 4. Replaced failed power lamp with LED upgrade - looks AWESOME especially since it is centered and the only light on the front! Also included is the original plastic front cover (RARE - possibly one-of-a-kind) that has always been on the unit. We also have the Tannoy System 8 NFM II speakers that were paired with this unit in its most recent configuration - please see our other eBay listings. Unit in excellent condition. Warm sound compared to the 2270. Includes original box and shipping box. Dismantled to the frame. All control pots have been cleaned with deoxit and lubricated with faderlube for smooth controls and crisp sound. Input jacks have been cleaned with D100L to improve and protect contact. All functions and inputs work as they should. Watch it performing on our YouTube channel called retrodiggs. It will be kept in its original boxes and packed in a brand-new box using multiple layers of large bubble wrap, styrofoam sheeting and/or styrofoam filler to ensure safe delivery.
