Rare opportunity to buy this in the UK - A Magnum Dynalab 205 FM Signal sleuth. Masthead Aerial amplifier. Set the switch on the front to bypass, to complete the initial set-up and tuning of the tuner being fed by the aerial. Once that been completed, reset the passthrough switch and tune the signal sleuth to the desired frequency, amplifying the signal going to the tuner. Its in good condition given its age. It might say 120v on the back, but I can assure you that its been adjusted to run on 240v here in the UK. In use it is very effective, whilst its not quite up to pulling a great signal from a piece of damp string, make it a very basic aerial the results are impressive. Feed it a good signal from a proper roof mounted aerial it is capable of pulling in those distant stations that were previously just out of reach to receive a usable and listenable signal. Alternatively if you live in a difficult reception area due to the topology of the terrain around you, this will be the answer to your problem. No original box, but will be securely packed for fully insured courier shipping.Personal collection is also most welcome.
