Magnepan Tympani I Speakers, Magneplanar. Excellent working condition. All panels play beautifully, the panels are very clean inside. The tweeters are new original replacements the mid bass panels are very clean and the crossovers were updated with high end capacitors, ( the capacitors cost just under $300.00), the speakers have nice depth and micro detail. The fabric does show some snags in the lower section, but overall they look very nice, I have boxes for shipping, Buyer pays shipping in the United States.

Pair of black Magneplanar Magnepan 1.7 loudspeakers in very good cosmetic condition with original factory packaging. They are already packed for shipping, so I had to use a stock photo here. There are two issues. The aluminum side rails were removed by the previous owner and I just kept using them that way. You may want to reattach them. Also, there is a small area at the top of one Mylar panel that is slightly stretched. It doesn’t “rattle” unless there is very deep bass in the program material or being played at a loud volume. I listened to them full range for a few years as is. If used in a home theater system with “bass management” to send the bass to a subwoofer instead of the 1.7’s, they should work fine. Zu diesem Thema findet sich sehr viel im Netz. Optischer Zustand ist gut, leichte Gebrauchsspuren, altersgemäß. Bespannung ist intakt und gut erhalten, siehe Bilder. Die Lautsprecher funktionieren, es empfiehlt sich im Hochtonbereich zusätzlich aufzurüsten bzw einen Subwoofer dazuzuschalten, auch dazu gibt es viel Informationen im Netz. Please read the entire listing prior to bidding. Offered is a very rare (Ive never seen another) Magnaplanar dealer display speaker. It measures 24 tall, made of wood, acrylic plastic and the base is metal. This display shows the how the Magnapan speaker works on the back. This was used as a point of sale piece. Its made to look like a speaker complete with actual wood sides and a cloth grill, but it is NOT a speaker that works/produces sound. I got this from a local stereo shop that closed in 90s that sold Magnaplanar speakers in the 1970s and early 1980s. Im guessing this is from the early 1980s. Its in very good shape, but the metal base piece does have some stains that should clean up. Overall an 8 out 10. Note: that is not a tear in the grill on the top left, its just the back part of the display shinning through. A very cool and rare piece! Again, not an actual speaker, but a display salesmen sample piece. Please ask questions prior to bidding. Photos are of the exact item youll receive. U.S. shipping will be $75.00. Leider passen diese phantastischen Lautsprecher opisch doch nicht so gut zu meiner Anlage, wie ich ursprünglich dachte.Deshalb werde ich sie wieder verkaufen.Weitere Daten erübrigen sich meiner Meinung nach, denn darüber gibt es ausführliche Berichte im Netz.
