This is for a Magnepan 30.7 system complete. I ordered this new and custom when I retired in 2018. The frames are powdercoated Ducati motorcycle red by Magnepan. The grille cloth is the off white more or less light gray they still do. System was set up by Wendell Diller of Magnepan in mid 2019. I auditioned a pair of these in Dallas, Texas, and ordered these the next day. I have been listening to planars and ribbons for many years. These were on my bucket list. Initially, I had ordrered the 20.7s but when I heard these, these blew them away.Trouble is, bad health ensued, and since owning these, I have been fighting a losing battle. I need to downsize and exit into care soon. This is not a fire sale, so no low ballers will be allowed. Far too many serious people interested. The retail on these is now double my price, and a long wait. I can tell you all in all honesty, this system is matchless in sound, especially at this price, even the retail price. Do you homework, plenty of info on the web on these.They are in perfect working order. They probably have about 25 listening hours. They are stunning, the best speakers I have owned in 40 years of very serious listening. No auditions, I warrant them to be in perfect order. You are welcome to show up at my place after winning, and listen to them and help me pack them up for shipping.I have all the original shipping boxes and materials. I can have delivered in Arizona, or perhaps a wider field. Inquire.The drivers of these bad boys are available for sale also. Inquire. They are as shown and described, no returns. Magnepan 3.7i Speakers With Custom Mye Stands - Immaculate Time to thin down my speaker collection, and am offering for sale an absolutely stunning, mint condition pair of Magnepan 3.7i planar speakers. These are the newest version of Magnepans highly regarded, incredibly detailed, audiophile grade speakers. For details please take a look at the Magnepan website. From: Review of the new Magnepan 2.7i and 2.7x speaker, both below the 3.7i and new 3.7x speaker, from the 2023 Capitol Audio Fest, November 10-12, 2023; Rockville, MD. Any new Magnepan is cause for celebration, but the latest may be even more so than usual. That’s because the new 2.7i ($6k) and upgraded 2.7X ($10k) not only come in at a very attractive price point but are also big enough to be full range, while not being so large as to overpower a room. They include a true ribbon tweeter, too. Their sound at CAF was impressive (see Best-Sounding Rooms above). I predict the 2.7’s will quickly become one of Magnepan’s top sellers. The Mye stands have been custom painted with automotive powder coating, so they match the off white grill cloth. Mye stands for Magnepan speakers are considered the absolute best in terms of upgrading Magnepan speaker performance, dynamics, and imaging. As Jonathan Valin says Maggies three-way, true-ribbon /quasi-ribbon planar 3.7i successfully addresses three issues that have long plagued true-ribbon Maggies: the seamless integration of that ribbon; the retention of detail and dynamic range at relatively low volume levels; and the reduction of Maggie grain. The solution of these problems combined with the famous virtues of true-ribbon Magnepans produces what is, in JVs opinion, a best buy..... Included: The speakers come with the factory boxes, all packaging materials, instructions, the oval speaker bases (brand new in box, as they have not been used), and 8 (unused) brass points for the Mye stands.
