Zur Geschichte:Damals kannte jeder Pioneer, Marantz, Kenwood, Technics, Akai, usw..Manchmal wurden damals auch exotische Geräte produziert, in kleinen Mengen und für ein sehr anspruchsvolles Publikum.L&G steht für Luxman und Garrard, zwei Spitzenhersteller, die sich zu einer Zusammenarbeit entschlossen hatten.Die L&G ist eine Lifestyle-Serie (1972-76) von Luxman-Produkten. THIS IS A FM TUNER This is the:Luxman T110u Ultimate High-Fidelity Stereo Component Model T-110 FM/FM-MPX Tuner Great looking and performing tuner from Luxman. This tuner looks really good and much better than many I have seen for sale. From the Internet: New compact tuner for FM only reception. An epoch-making new approach to styling departs from the conventional concept of tuners which have normally treated product dimensions to equal those of the matching amplifier. Unlike conventional tuners, the entire dial plate is designed as a unity with tuning and signal strength meter - in other words the dial scale is placed in the meters. The dial scale and letters are of etched aluminium foil. An additional feature is in the special tuning pointer which blinks at interstation settings and lights up when stations are tuned. This tuner was serviced in Los Angeles in 2005, see photo. All bulbs work, the Dial pointer lamp was replaced and works properly. Top surface of the wooden cabinet case has scratches, scuffs and some wear. Light blemishes, surface marks between dial plastic and dial. However this tuner presentsvery well and is a joy to look at. Think of it as HiFi art. I have just pulled this from my system and it does work very well. Photos are actual item listed. Shipping via UPS Insured.
