The C-600fs volume-control knob is counterbalanced to mimic the feel of a conventional volume control, but it doesnt control the volume in the usual sense; it only sends a signal to a CPU that selects the current switches in the preamplifier module. This Luxman tube power amplifier is being offered in an untested condition but has the potential to provide excellent sound quality. It is a vintage piece made in Japan, with a range of models available including the MB3045(2 units) and the MQ3600, and a Luxman Head amplifier CX-1.
