It has a triple PP end stage with an output of 50W+50W (into 8 ohms).Class-A operation always applies half of the maximum output current, which means that 50W of power is consumed even when there is no sound, and the heat generated is not insignificant. The exhibits are easy to use because the idle current is adjusted to suppress heat generation. Idling of 40 mA for each transistor (120 mA for 3 paras) is set. There are many opinions about the sound quality, but as far as the oscilloscope waveform is concerned, there is no switching distortion. Since this is not a modification, it can be readjusted to Class A at any time. The tone control section has 9 turnover selections for both high and low frequencies. In addition, the linear equalizer allows the user to adjust the slope of the frequency response like a seesaw to compensate for the sound field characteristics of the listening room. LINE input and tape input/output terminals are provided under the front panel for connection of occasional equipment. An indicator is provided to show that these terminals are selected.
