I am using it myself with this BMS and can confirm that it works excellent and you will not experience any issues with the Android app.If you are an iPhone (IOS) user and would like to program the BMS with iPhone please, note that this BMS has the newest software and the app to program it via iPhone has not been updated yet. However, you still can use this older version iPhone app from App Store to view (only view) the current status of your battery pack and cells (sections) state (all readings on the main screen): battery voltage, Ah, cell difference, remain capacity, power, battery temperature, etc. But again, you will not be able to set up the BMS, make or change the settings. If you are an iPhone user and do not have another/spare Andriod smartphone/tablet, we can contact via phone/WhatsApp and go through the settings together, set up the BMS with my Android device for your battery pack ahead with all parameters you need: your battery type (chemistry), number of cells (sections), capacity, undervoltage and overvoltage protection value, overcurrent, temperature protection values, etc. In this case, you will receive your BMS in ready-to-solder condition and use your iPhone only for viewing your battery and cells status. WIRING THE BMSPlease, connect the balancing wires regarding the number of cells (sections) using the pictures in this listing below.Do not attach the balancing connector to BMS until youve attached and checked all balancing wires to cells (sections) of the battery pack. Check the voltage on every pin of the balancing connector relative to the minus/ground of the battery pack. If you connected everything correctly, the voltage should increase gradually on every next pin (until youve reached the last section of your battery pack). Also, do not forget to connect the last red balancing wire to the last section of your battery pack (or in other words, to + of your battery pack). Please, see the pictures below. STARTING AND SHUTTING DOWN THE BMS1. Press the power button shortly to turn on the BMS. Now you can connect, monitor and program it using Bluetooth app.2. If the protection board is turned off due to abnormal power failure, a short press button is needed to start the normal operation of the BMS.3. During the normal operation of the protection board, press and hold the button for more than 5 seconds, then release the button, the protection board will automatically turn off the power, stop working and consume zero power.4. If the discharge MOSFETs are not turned on for more than 3 minutes (can be changed via app), the protection board will automatically turn off the main power, stop working, and consume zero power.5. If the BMS is turned off for the reasons of the third or fourth conditions, press the power button to start the normal operation of the protection board.
