It is in excellent condition with only the slightest of marks. The LP12 has been fully serviced by Krescendo HiFi. This includes a full strip down, the three suspension bolts have been checked for exact vertical hanging using the Linn tool specifically for the purpose, the suspension has been carefully set to the correct pistonic bounce, the tonearm has been fitted with the correct geometry using the Linn Kinky alignment tool, the turntable rotation speed has been precisely set to 33.3 rpm using a laser revolution counter. The whole LP12 is in excellent condtion with only the slightest of marks to the plinth and some slight polishing marks on the top of the lid. The LP12 has the Linn Akito tonearm and the superb Linn Adikt moving magnet cartridge. . The deck will be all set for playing music and will only require basic putting back together from the box. You are looking at my Linn LP12 main bearing and matched inner platter, with original Linn sub-chassis. They have just been removed from my LP12 as Ive upgraded to a Cirkus bearing. They are late pre-Cirkus items, in very good overall condition. The bearing and sub-platter are a matched pair and all 3 items were taken from the original LP12 they were manufactured for. The date stamp on the sub-chassis is November 1988; the Cirkus bearing was fitted as standard from 1993. The sub-chassis is epoxy glued - this mod was introduced in 1984. The bearing is a later black liner model. The deck was serviced by Cymbiosis ~6 years ago and has had ~5-600 hours of use since then. The sub-platter shaft and bearing are immaculate with no marks or corrosion. Ive always used Linn oil. Im also including a full set of springs, grommets etc, an old drive belt and various spare bolts. The springs grommets are used but in good condition. The items will come in original Linn packaging.
