Massive impact on action films etc. They can be bi-wired or quad wired if desired... I have used them with a REL sub but on many occasions they do not really need it. They are too powerful for my current situation..., gunfire, explosions and alien landings are too much for my neighbour... They need a hefty amp to get the best out of them, I have been using a Denon AV amp.In the right situation these will be quite awesome. there are a few slight scuffs to the cabinets, not all that noticeable, and a few marks to the bases, which dont affect the sound and havent bothered me. please see photos. They are very heavy, I do not have the packaging materials that would be adequate for these speakers so collection in person only please from SG2 Hertfordshire area.
