To activate it, simply press and hold the toggle switch of the device for three seconds in the upper position. The LED indicator will light up yellow. In DSD mode all PCM data is converted into a high resolution 1-but signal, the DSD (Direct Stream Digital). With DSD re-sampling the converters act as a pure filter circuit without DSP influence. Sound wise this 1-but mode is more transparent and more natural than the PCM operation. When the DSD mode is inactive, the network player uses an intelligent re-sampling and synchronises the digital data by means of an ultra-precise FemtoClock to eliminate any impact by the clock jitter in the sound. The input data is transferred bit perfect to the converters.
