This listing is for a Lexicon MC-12 Digital Controller. When this unit boots on it performs a diagnostics test and comes back with the error code * DEC FPGA E:001E*. From my research it looks like it is an error during upgrading the firmware. It appears that this can be fixed by someone who knows what they are doing. I am selling this unit as is. Rarely available Lexicon 512 5 channel amp, 120 wpc into 8 ohms, fully tested and fully functional. Balanced and unbalanced inputs.This unit came to me three years ago with two blown channels, 3 and 4. There are two pairs of output power transistors per stereo channel. On channel 3, both pairs were shorted/ on channel 4, one pair was shorted. The identical power transistors were no longer available, but I found replacements which, from what I remember, were equivalent or better. The replacements used were the MJ21194G for the SJ6521A, and the MJ21193G for the SJ6522A. Additionally, 4 capacitors per amp board were replaced, with good quality caps, because it was now my amp. This was used for two years, then stored in a temp controlled smoke free room, and brought out now for several run in hours per channel prior to letting it go. The circuit board shows 9BST on it, likely the Bryston version 5.0 board.

Amps are working but they have like a bad capacitor noice , noice goes off when it gets warm , very fixable .
