Up for sale is a two-chassis Mark Levinson No 40 Stereo Preamp/Audio-Video control console. I am selling for a friend who took these pieces in on trade for a conventional stereo preamp. The units power up and light up, the display illuminates, but we could not pass audio through the unit. It is being sold AS IS and specifically NOT as a working unit. Anyone familiar with Mark Levinson can understand the very precise machining, detailed fabrication, and the weight of the two chassis units! You have to try hard. I moved the cover of the device to the back. The device is visually in very good condition. The control panel is included. It is packaged very well and safely.
