Vintage integrated high quality stereo amplifier. This “Leak” model “Delta 70” amplifier was built in England, probably back in the early 90’s. I’m guessing that because there are no phono inputs, and two “Disc” inputs. There is a power input control so no matter where in the world you are, you will be able to select the correct A/C power requirement provided in your region. Yes, it works! I cleaned the pots, and put in a new fuse for the “on” light. Im pretty sure it doesnt meet the manufacturers original specifications. Then again, I dont really have that kind of sophisticated equipment to test it. It could probably use the capacitor upgrade, and a thorough cleaning and check up. I’d love to fix and keep this, but wifey says I have way too many audio toys. Needless to say, I am selling this unit “AS-IS”, for parts or potential fix. The selector knob is not original, but does the job well. I am also including the 2 speaker plugs, which you’ll need to hook up speakers with. Wood cabinet in good condition.

pair of vintage leak 1970,s speakers, model n0-2060 (think known as the sandwich speakers?). selling these as spares/repair as only 1 of them is in working order. they are a 3 way speaker system 4-8ohms. 50 watts (din 45500). made by h.j. leak & co ltd, idle, bradford, west yorks. they are the 600 floor standing speakers, measuring 38cmx33cmx65cm and are very heavy. both the dust covers are present, but need tidying up. these can sell for good money fully restored. the speaker not working needs 1x= tweeter is open circuit(needs replacing). 2=the base is open circuit(needs replacing). 3=the mid-range is tight and solid(so needs replacing). the cabinets are in good condition, but do need sanding/re-varnishing. you may be in the same situation as me, and have a pair, with just one working, or may want to take them on as a project. due to the mass and weight, they are collection only, however i will consider delivery in the leeds area, but will want small fee to cover fuel. if you have the 3- tweeter/base/mid range speakers in good working condition i would be interested in buying them!!!.

Leak Stereo 70 Amplifier Please Read Description. It does work (turns on and plays for a while) then decides to introduce an annoying thumping sound.. My husband has taken it apart to have a look and decide as it deals with mains electricity he wasnt confident enough to start desoldering capacitors etc.. Possible re calibration/new capacitor could resolve this issue.. No work has been carried out on the amp.. it could do with someone with the skills and time to bring this wonderful amp back to life..
