The bass response is amazing, with plenty of impact and with the most coherent transition to mids Ive ever heard. Speaking about mids, they are exceptional, especially if you prefer intimate presentation with vocal being the main focus. Thanks to their smooth highs, these headphones are never fatiguing, but at the same time remain detailed with great imaging. The LCD-3 that Im selling is in excellent condition with minor signs of use. The earpads have been upgraded to the Audezes new open cell foam ones (2021 version). AUDEZE LCD-3 Planar Vegan Headphones with travel case and FORZA audiophile cable. Excellent condition. The vegan pads are OEM option, softer more comfortable and better bass than the leather pads, and dont fade. There are a couple of very small places where the leather join between headphone and pad have peeled - very common with these headphones, one was there on shipping. Replacement pads are available on ebay or via Audeze for $30-100. Cable cost $300 handmade balanced Forza Noir Hybrid cable with custom Furutech jack. Custom made for me to suit this headphone sound with silver and copper hybrid wires. Original unused Audeze cable also, hard case. All warranty docs and certificate of authenticity.
