For sale is a Vintage alba 1050 radio - Spares only - no returns no moaning on this item Sold as spares and or repairs The item i think is from the mid 1980s The unit does power on just about with a jiggle of batteries (not supplied) due to corrosion on the springs - please read the following - Battery springs and tabs have corrosion but intact - the battery cover foam has been replaced with foam tapeSmall crack to case below battery cover - rear side only and around the internal screw in battery area FM radio does work - but when checked on other bands MW LW and SW - no sound and something went pop inside! with a touch of smoke and has a strong smell - perhaps a capacitor has gone pop - have no idea! but maybe why the other bands dont work signs of use all over but a nice example of what once was a nice quality radio takes 4 aa batteries however i am selling as parts and should not be powered up unless u know what your doing!
