This is a full-auto record player that operates automatically, including auto start, auto stop, auto return and auto repeat. When the record is finished, the arm automatically returns and rotation stops. ?The auto function is good now. ?Turntable body The turntable has some rust. The body is generally good, but there was some chipping in the lower right front, so it has been repaired. ?Shell & Cartridge The shell is a genuine Pioneer shell with a new and used needle attached to a Trio V -39 MKII cartridge. Available in MM cartridge with 5 mV output and 1.5 g to 2.0 g needle pressure. Originally, this is a specification of Pioneers high-power MC cartridge, but because of broken needles, it has been replaced. 5MC Cartridge compatriots. ?Dust cover The dust cover was broken in the lower left front when I got it, so I fixed it with glue, but it didnt work and it got quite dirty. Description ?information?Pioneer PL-505 direct drive fully automatic record player operation product Pioneers record player PL-505 is in good condition. Select 33 rpm or 45 rpm record rotation speed, select record size 30 cm, 25 cm, or 17 cm, press the start button, and the platter will start rotating automatically. moves to the lead-in position of the record, the stylus goes down and starts playing. When the performance is completed and the record moves to the end position, the arm automatically rises, returns to the armrest, and the platter stops rotating. If you want to end the performance in the middle, press the stop button, the arm will rise and return to the armrest just like when the automatic performance ends, and the rotation of the platter will stop. Also, if you want to listen to the same record repeatedly, there is a repeat mechanism. The rotation of the platter secures constant speed rotation with a quartz lock. The quartz lock is working properly and the indicator lights up as shown in the image. You can also play manually. Press the arm lifter button to raise the arm, move the arm to the position where you want to start playing, and press the arm lifter down button to lower the arm. When the record reaches the end position, the arm automatically rises and the performance ends, just like during automatic performance. The auto movement of the arm is smooth and everything is working well. The arm is a straight arm, the head shell is Pioneers head shell for straight arm, the cartridge is Pioneers PC-110/II, and the stylus (needle) is PN-110/II.
