THIS AMP WAS SOLD AS A 2 CHANNEL AMP WITH ROOM FOR UP TO 3 MORE CHANNELS BY WAY OF KRELL KAV CARDS. I BOUGHT THIS AS A 2 CHANNEL UNIT THEN HAD KRELL ADD THE OTHER 3 CARDS TO MAKE IT A 5 CHANNEL UNIT. THE ORIGINAL MSRP ON THIS ITEM WAS $5000 ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO ONE OF THE CARDS WENT OUT SO I PULLED IT AND NOW IT IS A 4 CHANNEL AMP THAT I USED TO POWER MY FRONT MAINS AND REAR SPEAKERS. YOU CAN ALWAYS PUT ANOTHER CARD BACK IN IT IF YOU CAN FIND ONE AND TURN IT IN TO A 5 CHANNEL AMP AGAIN VERY QUICKLY.
