Koss ESP 9 Electrostatic Stereophones / Headphones I have owned these since new and the still work as they did when I bought them For a review of the headphones please see: https://www.stereophile.com/content/koss-esp-9-electrostatic-headphones They come with all the original packaging plus the original test results for the left and right channels, which you can see are remarkably flat. You need to connect them to the speaker outlet of your amplifier and then either select the speakers or the sterophones on the E9 energiser They can self energise using power from your amplifier via the E9 unit, or energise using the E9 energising source whilst connected to the mains electricity supply to charge the electrostatic headphone membranes If you use the power from the amplifier to charge the headphones they operate at a lower volume than using the mains power option They are currently fitted with DIN connectors to fit the speaker output from your amplifier, see final picture The headphones seal using a fluid filled cushion which ensures a tight fit around the ear, and these are both in good condition with no leaks I have never had any problem with them, and although they have not been used since we moved house 30 odd years ago, they worked fine when tested using both mains power and self actuation. For Sale ,a pair of Koss ESP-9 electrostatic headphones with matching E-9 Energiser.Sold as Untested , Spares Or Repair.The ear cup pads are in excellent condition and look to have been replaced recently.The phones and energiser seem to be in original condition.They have been in cool ,dry storage for many years.Cosmetically good for their age.They will be well packed on despatch.
