One owner , manufactured and bought new in 1977. Consecutive serial numbers . Both speakers were upgraded in 1995 to the K–55–M squwakers, K–77–M tweeters, AL crossover networks, and the industrial K–43–E 200 watt woofers. The original unfinished birch plywood has been stained. A custom black plexiglass top piece has been installed. Protective aluminum trim protects all edges and corners. Two casters have been installed at the bottom of the rear panel on each speaker. Side inset handles have been installed on both speakers. Both speakers exhibit minor surface scratches, but no major damage is present. Both speakers are in excellent working order . Delivery , meeting exchange negotiable in Pacific Northwest.

I have the original Aluminum trim off a set of Pro LSI LaScalas. I decided to refinish these speakers and I dont have a need for the trim. It did a great job of protecting the speaker edges and corners over the years. This is for the trim only, no speakers. Includes all of the screws which look to be stainless as there is no corrosion on them. Also have the hard plastic trim that goes on the front of the dog house. All screws, and all trim included including all the corners. I have not tried to clean these up at all. You can see how well they protected the edges in one of the photos I have included.

Vintage pair of 1983 Klipsch La Scala speakers in good condition. Walnut stained birch. Has upgraded Crites Type-A 4500 crossover and CT 120 tweeters. Original K-55m midrange and K33 woofer. Matching sequential serial numbers. They were recently stained walnut from birch and have not been laquered. These speakers sound incredible. $3000. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY.
