You are looking at a pair of Klipsch speakers that were built in 1987. Excellent cosmetic condtion. They have Crites crossovers and tweeter diaphragms. I also added Crites risers. I bought these from the original owner about 15 yrs ago. They are not sequential and the tags on the back were removed by the original owner, but I have spec tags that I cut out from the original boxes. The boxes were so damaged they had to be thrown away. Overall very nice condtion, grills and badges are perfect . Local pick up only in SE Michigan.

I bought these brand new in 2022 for my local Klipsch Heritage dealer. They are in perfect condition. Im selling because I plan to purchase the LA SCALA AL5 model. Im asking $2750 each. This is a new restoration done by Klipsch restorations. This particular set of Cornwalls is a 1984 pair. The fronts were shaved off to delete the grills, and they were completely re-veneered in BLACK LIMBA. The crossover’s have been completely recapped, and everything has been tested and ready to go. These are show room museum condition. The story behind these is. First off these are a friend of mine father they bought them in 1976. As decor only, not to be played. They sat in a side room in his home. No sun light ever on them. The grills have never been off the speaker. They have never been opened up etc. there is not a single mark, scratch etc on them. Even then the bottom are NEW Condition. No one has even touched or moved them in 49 years. They 100% new as new can be. The owner has never played them. So I played them for 2 songs only. When we moved them. They were wrapped in towels, not even touched. Yes I have tested them, I used a paper towel to use a screwdriver to loosen the screw to put speaker wire on them. I just have to say wow the sound is unbelievable I used a wooden pic to take off the grills, with another paper towel, they were hard to get off as the velcro has never been undone.
