KLH 17 Model Seventeen Acoustic Suspension Loudspeakers Made in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA in 1968, these KLH Model Seventeen Speakers are in remarkable collectable condition - clean off-white fabric and warm rich walnut cabinets.They sound remarkably wonderful. The Model Seventeen is an 8 ohms full range, two-way system consisting of a 10 acoustic suspension woofer and a 1¾ direct radiator tweeter in a handsome, compact enclosure. Any high quality 12-watt-per-channel amplifier is sufficient to drive it, yet its power handling capability is such that any amplifier intended for home music reproduction may safely be used. Notably, there’s a a 3-position switch on the back of the speaker that permits an increase or decrease of 2.5 dB in the high-frequency range for matching the system to any acoustic environment.The enclosure is a ¾ furniture-grade wood cabinet, completely sealed and filled with fiberglass.
