Up for sale I have a pair of genuine Kimber Kable speaker cables. Each one is 16 feet long. I purchased these from Ray Kimbers brother, and he said they were a gift from Ray Kimber. I believe they are from the 1980s. The sound when using them is incredible. Please note these cables have not been terminated. If you have any questions, please send me a message. Nice quality pair of speaker cables. Each cable is made up of sixteen strands of braided wire (8 black and 8 brown). The braiding is Kimbers technique for eliminating the need for shielding. Cable length is 2.5 meters, about 8 feet. Cables only, no literature or Kimber packaging. One of the bundles has a small tear that exposes the wire. I inspected the entire bundle for any more issues but did not see any. Please inspect the pictures carefully before purchase. This is as close to the best sound as one possibly able to achieve without the harshness because the sound is extremely and fashionably smooth ???? Always the sweetheart of the Select range of reference interconnects in my humble opinion, the new all copper Selects are more delectable than ever. KS 1016 terminated in RCAs are truly wondrous upgrades for pennies! With over 50% more copper and numerous other refinements plus an amazing boost in definition, the new formulations are quite possibly the best deal going for all around reference listening to audiophile sources. They are also the least fatiguing, most universally compatible design I’ve auditioned under $2,000 per meter to date! From the hand of resident genius Ray Kimber, Kimber Kable has revised the Select line and brought us new and gorgeously improved all copper 1016 [RCA] and 1116 [XLR] interconnects. A sonic leap over the original formulations, I hear more of everything and a realistic, but relaxed presentation, that’s just magical. I truly believe this is the sweetheart of the line and a perfect under $2,000 per meter for those who want a big chunk of the best reference sound, but cannot reach the exalted heights of ridiculous money.
