Kenwood TS-570D(G) HF Ham Radio Transceiver. Offered for sale is a used Kenwood TS-570D(G) ham radio transceiver for use on the ham radio HF bands (160 - 10 meters). The G version of the TS-570 is upgraded from earlier TS-570 transceivers. The radio supports CW, SSB, FM, AM, and several digital modes. Other features include an internal antenna tuner, two antenna ports, DSP, and noise reduction. The unit is designed to transmit at 5 - 100 watts on SSB, CW, FSK, and FM and at 5 - 25 watts on AM. I have not owned this radio. I am selling it as part of the estate of a friend of mine who was a ham radio operator. I tested the transceiver to confirm that it receives and transmits audio signals. I was not able to test all aspects and functions of this radio so I am not able to guarantee that all things work as they should. That said, I believe it is a good operating radio otherwise I would not offer it for sale. The small holes on each side of the radio (visible from the pictures) are screw holes designed into the transceiver presumably for use in mounting the unit to an optional mobile mounting bracket (bracket is not included). The transceiver comes with a hand-held microphone, a three foot fused DC power cord with Anderson power connectors for connection to a DC power source (power source not included), and an owner’s manual. There are a few minor scratches and marks but nothing that is unordinary wear for used equipment. The unit and accessories look nice and appear to have been well cared for. The transceiver box is approximately 11.5” X 10.5” x 4” (Length, Width, Height). Accounting for knobs, connectors, and tilt stand, a space of approximately 15.5” X 11” X 5.25” is needed to accommodate the radio.
