KP-9010 inherits all the good technological improvements in KP-9010 bringing some minor improvements. I can tell you that comparing with the KP-1100 or KP-990 that I have sold previously I can see at KP-9010 a close to mirror like surface of the plinth (probably more laquer layers than the previous models). While aestetically they look similar, KP-1100 (and KP-9010 as a direct succesor) had a better SNR (90db vs 85db), a 30% higher torque motor (2kg/cm vs 1.5 kg/cm), improved motor speed stabilization, a better wow and flutter 0.005% vs 0.008% weighting also 800 more grams (14.5kg vs 13.7kg) than KP-990. Turntable comes with working Audio Technica cartridge. Absolutely deceptive looking turntable hiding everything under near-blank looks.
