Kenwood Basic M1A Stereo Power Amplifier. Unit powers on but power indicator light is keep blinking.

I have a vintage (late 80s/early 90s I think), Kenwood Basic M1A power amplifier. The amplifier powers on, but does not come out of bootup/test mode. When it worked, the red light would blink for a few seconds while it checked proper speaker connections and the like, and then come on steady with a relay click. Now it stays in that bootup/protection mode. I do not suspect it would be too difficult to have this repaired, more than likely the power amplifier components are still good. It was a GREAT amp when it worked. Just old enough to still be made in Japan, just new enough that it avoids other issues. The speaker terminals may also need some TLC (as seen in the picture) but should be easy while having it repaired otherwise. This amp dishes out 100 w/channel (RMS, true power) and can support A/B pairs of speakers. Truly a great amp, worth it to have it repaired. I replaced two capacitors that were visually bad (photo attached) but those were not the issue. That was as far as I got - now its youre turn to have a great raw power amp! All switches, indicator lamps, protection circuits, etc. work as designed. Conservatively rated at 100 watts per channel at 8 ohms this amplifier has the power to drive even the most difficult speakers. Cosmetically, there are scratches and scuffs which I touched up with black marker. I will rate the cosmetic condition as fair to be on the safe side. Please view the auction photos. Kenwood Stereo Power Amplifier Basic M1 Verstärker Endstufe Kenwood Stereo Power Amplifier Model Basic M1 aus der ersten Hälfte der Achtziger Jahre, an den Lautsprecheranschlüssen modifiziert, bitte unbedingt die Bilder anschauen Technisch: die Endstufe funktioniert und klingt sehr gut, die vier (Schraub-)Klemmen vom Anschluss ‚B‘ hat der Vorbesitzer mal durch andere ersetzt (oder ersetzen lassen?), weil bei den originalen Klemmen wohl die Kappen abgegangen waren. Soweit ich es weiß wurde sonst technisch nichts an der Endstufe verändert oder repariert. Ich habe beide Anschlüsse ‚A‘ und ‚B‘ getestet, allerdings nicht in der Kenwood typischen „Sigma“ Konfiguration. Optisch: der optische Zustand ist für das Alter von ca. 40 Jahren gut, an manchen Kanten gibt es leichte Farbverluste, die Front ist ansonsten topp, allerdings erkennt man auf dem Gehäusedeckel beim näheren Betrachten einige oberflächliche Kratzer und ein paar kleine Flecken die ich nicht weg polieren konnte, ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, ob der Gehäusedeckel nicht evtl. mal nachlackiert wurde. Ich fand es nie so schlimm, will es aber trotzdem erwähnt haben Das nächste Gerät aus meiner Sammlung, ich hab‘ einfach viel zu viel und da muss wieder was weg. Diese Endstufe habe ich vor ein paar Jahren von einem Freund geerbt, und seitdem nur wenige Stunden testweise laufen lassen, jetzt verkaufe ich sie wie sie ist.
