Since all of our amplifiers are broken and we do not have them with us at the moment, we checked the operation by connecting it directly to a TV and were able to hear the volume of a Panasonic TV at 65, the maximum volume for a normal TV, which is about 10. There was no problem with 33 and 45 rotation. The arm lift also worked properly, as did the mechanism that automatically raises the arm when the music ends. However, this is a personal check and it is an old record player, so we cannot guarantee the quality. One of the four feet (insulators) is unglued to the screw part of the pedestal, and the pedestal comes off when lifted. We do not know whether the screws and the pedestal must be fitted or glued together, so we have left it as it is. Vintage well sought after Kenwood KP-770D direct drive quartz lock turntable in very good condition and working order. Quartz PLL coreless and slotless DC servo motor. Turntable keeps the speed well. Tonearm will lift at the end of the record and the platter will stop. Turntable plinth and dustcover shows signs of age but still looks very good for its age (dustcover is still clear). The laminate in the front right corner is starting to open a bit, but no peeling. This turntable runs on 100V thus a step-down transformer is required. Included is an extra Kenwood HS-51 headshell for easy cartridge rolling. Note: This sale does not include the cartridge shown in the photos. Sale only includes the turntable and the extra headshell. Packaging is not original but will be well packed to avoid damage in shipping.
