If you are an audiophile looking for the the most engaging, detailed, pure and smooth music you have ever heard, this pair of high end speakers may be the answer to your search. The midrange sounds are well defined and so are the highs. The tight and deep bass generated by two woofers in each cabinet is exceedingly delightful. However, one of the tweeters needs to be upgraded (the cabinet with the piece of tape on top) and the inner donuts/rings replaced in both. I am entertaining the idea of doing the necessary repairs and keep them but it is hard to allocate time to do so. Once repaired, you will want to keep these for as long as you live since very few speakers match their sound quality. Please note that they are very heavy. Otherwise, they are in great shape and you would feel proud to have them in your living room.

Kef SP1039 Speakers Driver From Kef 104 Reference. Full working speakers in used condition. Removed from Kef 104 Reference. I tried to show the condition in the picture, there is a small gap between the membrane and the rubber, it looks like it was slightly peeled off but there is no hole etc. still very strong. I bought Kef 104 from the first owner and they played great but unfortunately I destroyed the cabined and it is no longer usable, so I only sell the drivers. ONLY UK POST.

For Sale ,a Tweeter and 2) Grill Badges for KEF 104mk2 Loudspeakers, all in good ,used condition.The tweeter is a T33, SP1191, 4 Ohms, this model has no faceplate when fitted to the 104 mk2 speaker.Care is needed when unpacking to assure the diaphragm does not break away from the magnet structure as this may damage the assembly beyond repair. The tweeter at present is in its original fixed position and works fine. Tweeter dimensions are 70mm diameter and overall depth of 25mm.The metal badges are in great condition.All will be well packed on despatch.

Very impressive sounding and looking vintage speakers. Foams have been replaced 2 years ago by previous owner. Only selling due to upgrade and lack of space. These are highly regarded even now and have a very powerful sound that is very balanced. There are the expected age marks for their age, as can be seen in the pics, but soundwise they sound brilliant. Original grills, but a bit discoloured. Please study the pictures for more specific marks etc. No original boxes. Happy to demo. Pick up from Hove.
