One pair of KEF Q100 speakers in pretty good shape, some marks, but in full working order and sound awesome! The KEF designed drive unit is full range, featuring the petal shaped tweeter in the centre of the aluminium coned bass/mid range unit. Solidly built, front ported cabinets which go down way low in the bass department given the size of them. Very big sound from small boxes. Some scratching and marks on the cones, but they are intact and it does not affect the sound quality; no front covers. Built in brackets on the back so easy to wall mount if you wanted to.

The XQ10 may be the smallest model in the range but if you are looking for a top notch bookshelf speaker for a small to a medium size room, this will nail it. The speakers feature Kefs award winning Uni-Q array with tangerine waveguide and a dome tweeter in a totally unconventional speaker cabinet where the sides are not flat but rounded. Compared to their earlier versions of the Uni-Q array driver, this latest version has more sparkle to the mids and highs. So in terms of detail retrieval, the XQ10 has much more to offer. Bass is not its strong point (it only has a 5.25 driver) but actually sounds pretty respectable in the right setting. Although Kef compares this to the legendary Rogers LS 3/5 monitor speaker, we find that its a more bassful version of it with sharper highs and mids than the Rogers. Is it better? I think the jury is out on this. Both are good speakers from two different era. And totally enjoyable if you are looking for a modest and intimate sounding system. Each speaker is 7.5 wide, 10 deep and 13 tall. Frequency response is 63 Hz to 55 kHz with a nominal impedance of 8 ohm and a sensitivity of 86 dB. Cosmetically, the speakers look good. Being that it is a gloss black finish, it has some polishing swirl marks and a few light scratches. Grille covers are not original ones and previous owner took it off from another KEF speakers and double taped it (they are very strongly taped on and we didnt remove it) on the speakers. We dont have the original box but will securely pack this for safe shipping.

KEF Q100 Bookshelf Speakers cherry. These speaker were bought new by me and have been used as TV speakers as shown in the photos. They are in excellent condition and are working properly. I am changing them for a newer version of KEF speakers in black - hence the sale. All modern KEF speakers sound superb and the imaging and definition of the Q100s is very good. They do not need an expensive amp to sound clear and detailed. These speakers come complete with the original box and all packing materials. I can include two lengths of QED speaker cable if required but the stands shown are not included in the auction. (NB these speakers are front ported and incorporate a wall bracket so can be used against a rear wall if needed). Happy bidding.
