Sale includes plastic surround from a Q70 and original mounting screws. 8ohm Outer: 17.5cm Hole needed: 14cm-15.5cm Depth: 9cm I believe these will fit a Kef Q70, Q50 & Q30 but please check the model number of the driver unit you are looking to replace. Offered for your consideration is a vintage KEF Type SP1205 8” (200 mm) woofer removed from my C40 speakers, manufactured in England c.1987. KEF used a practically identical 8” mid/bass driver in several of their other C-series models in the mid-to-late 1980’s, but unless your blown or damaged unit has KEF Type SP1205 stamped on the magnet cover, the impedance may not be correct for your speaker.So, please take a look at my large photos and read the remaining description to decide if this superb KEF mid/bass woofer is correct for your needs. *Although the listing is written in singular to avoid any confusion, two (2) identical KEF SP1205 woofers are available at the time of this writing. Please choose if you’d like to buy one or both in the quantity field at the top of the listing. The shipping cost will be automatically calculated by eBay checkout. This KEF woofer is in clean, excellent condition. The black polypropylene cone is in great shape with no flaws whatsoever and the voice coil dustcap is perfect as well. I should mention that the dustcap atop coil is raised slightly off of the cone which, along with the “bottle cap crinkle” at cap bottom, appears to be for dissipation of heat. Plus, the surround is permanent rubber instead of the fragile foam widely used by most other makers in the 1980’s, and the black enameled basket is also in great shape. And, the double-type +/- terminals measure the standard .205”, are marked for polarity, and have never been soldered on the spades. Overall, this is one very well-preserved mid/bass driver. Most importantly, it was fully tested in the C40 cabinet before disassembly and sounds splendid—very clear with fast, detailed midrange and solid low-end output for the platform size. KEF is renowned for the accuracy of their mid/bass units. Plus, I tested the DC resistance at 3.3-3.4? consistent with a 3 ohm nominal driver rating. The C40 uses two SP1205 drivers per cabinet, one for midrange and bass, the other for only bass, and they’re series-wired in the crossover for the speakers’ net nominal 8 ohm rating. Lastly, the basket measures 8¼” across (9¼” at the truncated corners), it stands 3½” tall, and the mount holes ae spaced 6” adjacent / just over 8½” on the diagonal, c-t-c.This is a nice if you have a blown or damaged 8” driver in your C40 or other suitable KEF model—your classic British speakers will be sounding their best again!As pictured and described, this KEF Type 1205 bass/midrange woofer is offered at a competitive price. They have been internally modified and wired for bi-amping, but can be used as standard as I have been doing since a while with an adaptor provided in the sale. The DIN connector feeds the tweeters. Fairly good cosmetic condition with some scratches, dings and blemishes commemorating the age of these beautiful sounding speakers from the mid 70s. The square front baffles can be turned in all directions, I currently have them with the tweeter turned to the outside... No guarantee and no returns as I am private seller, but will guarantee that all drivers are working as intended. Also happy to let you audition them to show they are working perfectly as they are still wired up! Local pickup from Lincoln preferred as very heavy, but can deliver within a reasonable radius! They does have some wear and tear but overall they in very good condition and fully working order . Please be aware that they still have an original mesh and it became very crispy after so many years, so ideally it requires to refurbish a mesh . Ideally its collection only ,but i can send them by post on you own risk ,they would be well packed into two not original boxes. Feel fre to ask any questions about them .

KEF Reference Model 100 2 way Centre Channel loudspeaker (new price £350) A perfect sonic match for KEF Reference Models One and Two, could also be used with Models Three and Four. This is an extremely rare pair of early production kef cresta loudspeakers, with very close serial numbers and build dates. These have had only one previous owner and came from a large estate. These are from the first year of production for the cresta and B110 mid bass driver that is later used in the infamous ls35a. I have never seen another pair like this, they are quite possibly one of the last pairs in existence. If you are interested in kef history, these are museum worthy and would be a fine addition to any collection. Condition : Amazing Condition for 55 years old and in full working order, they sound incredible. As expected for the age they are not mint but who can expect that from them. Please examine the photographs as regards to physical condition. Relisted due to time waster, please only offer or purchase if you have the intention of completing the transaction. The stands photographed are not included in this sale. These will be wrapped to a high standard to prevent any damage during shipping. Due to the nature of the product I will not accept any returns after the sale is complete. I will only send overseas using the global shipping method offered by eBay. VINTAGE 1975 - PAIR OF KEF SP1032 T27 TWEETER DRIVERS Both matching dates NICE USED CONDITION, I purchased these myself second hand from a contact/client at work, they were removed from modified Kef cabinets. Bought a very long wile back to be part of a cabinet build-up project that has sadly been abandoned due to lack of time. They have been in storage for a good wile. Included is 2 used gaskets, still nice and spongey/useable. The previous owner has matt blacked the surrounds and one could do with re-doing or the pair stripped back to there original satin finish.
