Drivers are in perfect condition and were never stressed. A part of the reflex port on of one of the speakers seems to have come loose. Airflow from heavy bass sounds a bit different as a result if I put my ear right up to the port, but its not something I can hear when listening normally. Carbon black with red cones? Yes. My interior decorator (wife) wanted Titanium gray speakers with copper cones just like my old LS50s. I purchased a set of black & a set of titanium Metas and switched the speakers. These Metas sound beautiful. Well worth upgrading from the LS50s.If you have some nice equipment, youll love the Metas. No scratches or dents on speakers or stands. On one speaker, the top has a slightly smoother, shiny area as seen in the pictures. Can only be seen in certain angles and lighting. Doesnt affect the color or performance. Retail for the speakers is $1,599 and retail for the stands is $449. Reason for selling is I changed to the LSX wireless speakers you can see in the background of the first image.
