Had these from new but my little boy decided to touch one of the drive units which has slightly dented the driver, they work fine and actually sound no different but have priced them accordingly, would make an excellent choice for anyone looking for a pair of active speakers which work brilliantly with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth with excellent apps support from KEF. The speakers are true active speakers, that each speaker has an active crossover and seperate AB amps for each woofer and tweeter in each speaker (50W/20W), along with a built in DAC to play digital audio at up to 96Khz/24-bit resolution. They can be fed analogue input or digital input via USB, wired/wireless DNLA or Airplay. KEF LS50 Limited Black Edition No. 4626 Original Box and port plugs. A pair of limited edition Kef LS50 speakers ( not the Meta edition, to avoid confusion ). They are the limited, uniquely numbered, all black edition, no. 4626. They have been well looked after and are in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. They come in original packaging with port plugs ( in the picture you can see the semi plug but the full plug is included ). I have had them from new but only bought them about 4 years ago and they have had light use in my study system. If you are looking at this you will know the reputation these speakers have. They sound fantastic. They have a reputation for being power hungry but I have driven mine absolutely fine with a 40 watt tube amp, a 40 watt class D amp and a 150 watt class A/B amp. I prefer to use them with a small subwoofer but that is purely a matter of taste and in my opinion they have plenty of bass weight on their own. If you choose to bid I am sure you will gain as much pleasure from these as I have. I am selling purely because of the audiophile curse of wanting a change and have moved to Revel M106 speakers which are a step up in price and sound different, but not necessarily better, than the KEFs. Also I have a 12.5 watt 300b amp in another system and the Revels match that a bit better.

Hallo Audiophile und andere!Ich verkaufe meine neuwertigen KEF LS50 Meta. Habe sie erst Mai 2022 für 1.200 € gekauft und war sehr zufrieden. Aber dieser dieser Drang Das Bessere ist der Feind des Guten hat mich jetzt zu den großen Quadral Aurum Orkan 2 (4T€) getrieben. Dadurch konnte ich einen intensiven Direktvergleich machen.Die Überraschung: Die KEF spielen voll auf Augenhöhe der Quadral. Beim Klang kann ich keine Verbesserung erkennen.Die Quradral sind nur einen Hauch besser in der Positionierung im Stereobild. Und da muss man schon sehr aufmerksam vergleichstesten. Nur deshalb habe ich die Quadral nicht zurückgehen lassen. Aber angesichts der Preisdifferenz eigentlich ziemlich dekadent, wie ich zugeben muss. Natürlich sind die großen Quadral im Bassbereich etwas stärker. Aber nach dem Testen habe ich mich trotzdem entschieden, meinen guten Subwoofer weiterzuverwenden, weil die 3dB-Absendung erst bei 27 Hz einsetzt (!). Das schaffen in meinem Raum nicht mal die Quadral. Also: Die KEFs sind ein echter (Geheim-)Tip. Konzeptionell habe die KEFs sogar noch einen Vorteil, denn sie arbeiten als Punktschallquelle, weil der Hochtöner in der Mitte des Tief/Mitteltöners integriert ist. Ich selbst konnte dies aber nicht heraushören. Ihr werdet sehr zufrieden sein und die Tiefbass-Freaks kaufen sich wie ich einen Subwoofer dazu. Zum Zustand:Für mich als Audiophilen ist es natürlich selbstverständlich, dass ich die KEFs in einem neuwertigen Zustand erhalten habe. Allerdings ist mir bei einem der Tief-/MItteltöner eine kleine Macke passiert, siehe Fotos. Klar hab ich auch noch die Originalverpackung. Und die Rechnung natürlich auch, das heißt, sie haben noch 1 Jahr Garantie. Viel Freude damit!
