For sale a lovely pair of KEF Concertos 3 way speakers. Three-way floor speaker system, using the famous T27 tweeters and KEF B110 mid & B139 bass drive units. They are in good condition, but there is mark on top of one, a scratch down one side, a small chip and some other age related marks but overwise gorgeous looking speakers. Full working order and sound great. They come with KEF original packing boxes. Sure enough the HTS3001SE satellite speakers are stunning. The combination of their ‘dewdrop’ shape and white finish could have quite easily turned out tacky, but KEF’s cosmetic know-how keeps everything effortlessly chic and modern. The glossy finish catches the light beautifully and the curves ooze elegance. The grilles covering up the front are magnetic, so there are no plug fixings to spoil the clean look when removed. Underneath, the front panel has a rubbery texture, with the silver Uni-Q driver array bang in the centre. Each satellite stands 245mm high, a manageable height that won’t impose on the landscape of your living room.On top of that, build quality is superb. At 2kg each, the rigid cast aluminium cabinets are heavy and easily worthy of the price tag. Each one is connected to a sturdy oval base by a pivoting ball joint, which makes it easy to point in the desired direction.On the back, two silver binding posts poke out from the bottom. eBay KEF B110 Bass Drivers (SP1003) Here we have a pair of classic KEF B110s in full working order. The DC resistances (0Hz) measure around 7.3 ohms for both drivers, they date from 1973. Hi and welcome to my listing for these very well made Kef Constructor Series CS1 speakers. Cosmetically these speakers have been professionally built by a bespoke carpenter. The speakers are bonstucted from birch plywood with generous real wood veneer. The speakers utalise Kef Constructor B110 bass drivers and T27 tweeters.. Crossover are from Falcon Acoustics (see internal photograph) and cabinets have been filled with long fibre wool. These small speakers sound absolutely fabulous, full stop. The design is based around the LS3/5a using the exact same matched drivers, however with slightly larger cabinet dimensions. Bi-Wiring facility gives a large improvement with tge right front end and amplification. I also have some matching Partington super dreadnought stands which give a great foundation. Postage will be slightly higher than normal to allow insurance and will be packed. Collection also welcome from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
