Inherited from the original owner, they have been in climate controlled storage, having been recently removed from a cherished working system. KEF Reference 103/3 Bare Replacement Speaker Cabinet Black. We offer this for someone who has a dropped or crushed 103/3. That needs a new box. Bare cabinet, no crossover, no binding post, no grill, no screws. It still shows fairly good still. The box has 2 small worn areas on the rear top edges, nothing to bad. But they are there. A few light brush marks on the sides of white dry wall flat white rub stains, not at all deep marks. Minor wear only elsewhere. The face is nice. The KEF emblem is there but spins in place, needs glue. The midrange foam is there, the interior foam is there. The bottom plate port area has a tiny stain that does not distract very much. Heavy very well crafted cabinet to replace a crushed or dropped 103/3. This would be perfect. Is it mint or new no but, cared for. No lemon oil polish was added to hide anything for this sale. Shows as it is. We do not have the other cabinet, it was damaged. While this is a empty cabinet yes, its vintage KEF and still is fairly heavy on its own. Nothing light about this series of speakers. Very rare in this clean condition with matching serial numbers. KEF 103.2 2 way bookshelf speakers in teak. Matching serial numbers and they have the more desirable 5 way binding posts. All drivers are free of damage and the cabinets are 7/10 with a few small marks, scratches and dings. I have used these off an on in a bedroom system with an Aragon 200 watt amp and they are amazing! Beautiful imaging, natural midrange with incredible frequency extension. These have a strong cult following for very good reasons! I will ship UPS ground, packed to survive!! KEF Reference Speakers 103.2 Type SP1121. These amazing speakers come from the golden age of the kef reference series when they were made and assembled in Maidstone in the uk . Today I have had the great pleasure in listening once again to this loudspeaker which not only has a beautiful natural midrange, but also great non boxy bass response. These are highly thought of not only in professional reviews but also In many hi fi forums . This particular pair is in very good condition , I have arranged the pictures in sets of 8 .
