The sound is excellent and comparable to my Falcon LS3/5as that sell for $3500. The KEF 101s have more bass, a fuller sound and a flatter curve yet they have the sweet midrange and treble that these speakers are known for. I am even including a complete recap set from Falcon Acoustics that I recently purchased for over $100. Even though these were not played much, old caps deteriorate and need to be replaced over time if you want proper performance.
