This listing features a Kenwood KD-1500 Turntable Record Player. It is in working condition and good cosmetic condition with scuffs from use. The lid has cracks in it and doesnt have any hinges. Anti skate weight for the tonearm of the Kenwood KD-1500 turntable. This anti skate weight is made as a close replica of the original. It is made to the correct mass value required but it my differ cosmetically to the original manufacturers weight. * Please note that this auction is for the anti skate weight and its monofilament line only. The line is knotted and has a small balancer that goes inside the weight but the end that attaches to the anti skate bar of the tonearm is open ended and therefore you must tie the loop end yourself. Length of the line supplied is 25cm which is enough extra line for a couple of attempts and I will supply extra lines if you feel you might need them for free on request. *

This is a vintage KD-1500 turntable by Trio (later became Kenwood) It is a semi automatic, in that it is lever operated to begin playback and lifts automatically at the end of a record to cease playback, but tonearm movements and positioning are mostly your own doing. It is in good general condition, a few marks here and there but very minor, please study the photos as part of the sales description. Sadly the perspex lid has gone astray, but dust covers are available pretty cheaply, and occasionally even original ones crop up on ebay too if it bothers you and you need one. Following a thorough service, the functions are all spot on, cueing of the tonearm up and down, the auto lift is quick to operate, speed is good and stable, and thanks to a fresh, quality cartridge and stylus the playback is lovely audio too. A very nice vintage way back into your vinyl collection, without breaking the bank! This can be fully demonstrated upon collection from Arnold, Nottingham (O7875749472) Alternatively, if collection in person is a complete impossibility, you can also enquire about a door to door personal delivery, by negotiation prior to any bidding or buying, or you could book your own collection with a courier, friend or colleague etc, so long as you accept the responsibility for its safety and insurance, ill package it up as best i can for transit.
